    How do I search for jobs?
    Go to the Search For Jobs page to browse by Job Specialization or click the provided links. The following criteria: Job Specialization , Position Level and Specific Positions will asssit to further focus your search for a Job.

    How do I search for Jobs in different work locations or Job requiring diferent specializations?
    You can use "Desired location" and "Job specialization" to assist you in your Search. You can also specify keywords or specific position to suit your specific Search.

    Are there any Tips to assist Jobseekers in Job Search?
    Choose Job Industry, Job Specialization and Job Location in advanced search to suit your interests. You can broaden your search by adding fields related to Job Specialization if you do not find enough Jobs.

    Use keywords for more a specific search. Always use the keywords that can provide more specific information about the Job you want. Try keywords like Position Titles or Skills that are required for the job you are searching for. Do not use functional words such as "a", "an", "the", "and", "or", etc. Single character keywords are not valid, eg "c", "z", "a", etc. Avoid symbols such as "/", "++", “#”, etc.

    How do I Apply for jobs?
    There are several ways to submit your applications:

    • ONLINE JOB APPLICATIONS
      If you like to apply for a job listed on SpeecomJobs.com, just click on the 'Apply' button to submit your application. But to do so, you need to be our registered member and must maintain your Resume in your ResumeBasket Account.
    • JOB APPLICATIONS via Email
      If you know the Employer's Email address, simply go to your Resume after logging into your ResumeBasket account, and copy your Resume and then transmit your application manually via Email.
    • JOB APPLICATIONS via Normal Mail
      If the Employer insists on hardcopy Job Application or if you do not know their Email address, you can print your Resume from your ResumeBasket account and then send it by post/mail.

    How do I know if my application has been received by a prospective Employer?
    If you applied for a job on SpeecomJobs.com, the Employer and/or Recruitment Consultant will receive your resume ONLINE. To verify the status of your application, just go to your ResumeBasket account, and click on the 'Jobs Applied' link. The column 'Application Status' will show whether the Employer or Recruitment Consultant has processed your application.

    SpeecomJobs.com does not keep track of any Job Application personally sent by you by Email. You need to keep in touch with the Employer to verify the status of your Job Application.

    How do I keep track of my previous Job Applications?
    You can check and verify the Status of Job Applications made via speecomJobs.com Only. SpeecomJobs.com does not keep track of any Job Application personally sent by you by Email.

    LOGIN into your ResumeBasket Account. Click 'Jobs Applied' . You will see "Online Application Status".

    This section shows the Status of Job Applications you applied ONLINE via SpeecomJobs.com's advertiser. You can check the Application Date, Vacancy Status, Application Status, Total Applicant's, Total Short-list.
    You may also Withdraw any Job Application if you were to change your mind or if you have accepted another Job offer.

    Can I apply for jobs in another Country?
    Employers always prefer Jobseekers from their own Country.

    If an Employer has posted a Job Vacancy on a Website originating from his Country of Origin, then this Employer would prefer Jobseekers from his Country of Origin.

    If an Employer has posted a Job Vacancy on a Website originating from another Country , then this Employer would be looking for Jobseekers from that Country.

    For example, if a US Employer has posted Jobs on a Malaysian Website, then he is targeting Malaysian Jobseekers.

    SpeecomJobs.com allows Jobseekers to apply for any Job in any Country so long as you meet the requirements stated in the advertisement.

    Can I withdraw my application?
    You may withdraw your Job Application at any time. To withdraw your Job Application, just LOGIN into your ResumeBasket Account and then click on the Withdraw button on 'Jobs Applied'.

    How do I subscribe to Jobs Alerts?
    LOGIN into your ResumeBasket account. Go to 'Tools' section and click 'Subscription'. You will be asked for your Job Preferences including your Desired Field of Industry, Work Locations and keywords for Job Specialization or Specific Position. This will constitute your Job Alert Profile.

    What is Jobs Detector?
    Jobs Detector is our Personal Career Management Agent - a software that performs Job Matches for Registered users based on the preferences specified in their Job Alert Profile. It is designed to keep track of Career opportunities in the market and to deliver them exclusively to holders of ResumeBasket Accounts.

    How do I receive my Job Matches?
    Jobs Detector will send Job Matches to you via Email.

    Each Job Match will contain the following details:
          * The Job Position or Job Title
          * The company name
          * The Working Location of the Job Vacancy
          * The Advertisement date

    In order to view more details of the Job Match, click on the Position Links given. You will then be able to view the full advertisement and details of the Job Vacancy.

    How do I update my Job Alert Profile?
    LOGIN into your ResumeBasket account. Click on 'Subscription' and then make any changes you need and then click the 'Save' button.

    What is "ResumeBasket Login ID" and what is "ResumeBasket Login Password"?
    ResumeBasket Login ID and ResumeBasket Password allows you to login to your ResumeBasket Account to then access its services during your search or application for Jobs. Please keep your Login ID and Password secure and memorize it because you will always need it each time you want to access our services.

    How do I change my Password?
    Just LOGIN into your "ResumeBasket Account" and click on 'Change Password, Email' in Tools. After changing your Password / Email do not forget to click 'Save' button.

    What if I forgot my Password?
    Just click on the 'Forgot Password' Link in "Jobseeker" and follow guide as provided in the Forgot Password section to get a New Password.

    A prospective Employer will use your "Cover Letter" to obtain his "First Look" at you.
    A Cover Letter is normally a One-page document that accompanies your Resume.
    It's main purpose is to link you and your Resume to the Job you are applying for.
    It will contain a brief introduction of yourself together with your Contact Details.
    The role and importance of a Cover Letter lies not only in your ability to highlight your strengths, skills and convictions but also in making you stand out amongst your competitors.

    You must Login into your ResumeBasket Account. Then click on the link called "Cover Letter' in 'Resume' to modify/update your personal information.

    How do I update my Resume?
    You must Login into your ResumeBasket Account. Then click on the link called ' Update Resume' in 'Resume' to modify/update your personal information.

    What is "Resume Display Service "and what will I get from this service?

    How do I subscribe to "Resume Display Service"?
    You must click on the link called 'Subscribe as Hot Jobseeker' and furnish your Login ID and Password for authentication.
    Then select the product(s) and the click on the Submit button for subscription.

    What is Resume View?

    How do I change my email address after I have registered?
    You must Login into your ResumeBasket Account and then click on the 'Change Password, Email' link under Tools. After having changed your Password/Email address, do not forget to click 'Save' button.

    How do I close my account?
    You must Login into your ResumeBasket Account and the click on the 'Close Account' link under Tools. You will be prompted to confirm, "Close Your Account". Please note that once you have closed your account, you will not be able to access this service again in the future.

    I cannot Login!!
    You may have entered the wrong Login Id or the wrong Password. If you have forgotten your password, go to the 'Forgot Password' Link in "Jobseeker" and follow guides as provided in the Forgot Password Section to get a New Password.

    I cannot access certain sections or certain pages in ResumeBasket!!
    This can be caused by the version of the Web Browser you are using.
    In order to fully access the features, please use Internet Explorer/Netscape Version 4
    And above (or any other compatible Browser) with JavaScript support.
    You should also enable the option to accept Cookies so as to enjoy a more personalized service.
